and Proud Parent of neurodivergent kids

I don’t just understand neurodivergence - I live it.

As a late-diagnosed ADHDer, a parent of neurodivergent kids, and an educator who’s spent my career supporting children with additional needs, I know the challenges and the beauty that come with thinking differently.

This lived perspective is at the heart of everything I do.

My Qualifications & Professional Background

Evidence, experience & empathy.

I’ve taught, led, parented, coached, created, and advocated — and every step has taught me something new about minds that move fast, feel deeply and colour outside the lines.

This work blends:

  • Lived experience

  • Evidence-informed practice

  • Creative expression

  • Compassion without judgement

Because every brain deserves understanding - not shame.

My Qualifications & Professional Background

Formal education

  • ADHD Coach Certification - Efficient Coach (International Accreditation), 2025

  • Master of Education – Learning Support, UQ, 2017

  • Bachelor of Education (Primary), CSU, 1997

My Qualifications & Professional Background

career snapshot

Across 25+ years in education, I’ve worked in roles that centre children, families, and learning diversity:

  • Educational Specialist, Deniliquin Speech Pathology

  • Parent Support Worker, Transcend Australia

  • Assistant Principal

  • Literacy Instructional Leader & Additional Needs Lead Teacher

  • Owner / Operator, Messy Mind Education (2017–2019) — where my passion for neurodivergent advocacy first took shape.

Across these roles, I’ve supported children with distressed behaviour, complex learning profiles, trauma backgrounds, ADHD, autism, giftedness, and everything in between.

Today, I use all of this to support others.

Through coaching, writing, art and advocacy, I help beautifully different minds find clarity, confidence and calm — in ways that actually work for their brain.
